Fairbank’s Restaurant Enjoys Brand Makeover led by the Gilkey Restaurant Consulting Group

THE BANKS ALEHOUSE – Old Steese Highway, Fairbanks, Alaska

After ten years serving the Fairbanks community, national franchise Boston’s Gourmet Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar, closes its doors and the owners bring in the Gilkey Group to rebrand the restaurant. Similar to the previous concept, The Banks Alehouse will continue to be the place in Fairbanks where family and friends can cheer on their favorite team, chill out on the patio or relax in the dining room.

Located on the Old Steese Highway, the new restaurant brand will provide the owners greater control over day-to-day operations.

The Gilkey Group services included creation of the new name, logo and branding materials, a redesign of the exterior and interior spaces, kitchen redesign, menu makeover, recipe development, beverage development, new operations manual and management and team member training. With the redesign complete and the general contractor hired the goal is to open in September.

The Gilkey Group envisioned bringing the Alaskan frontier into the space with the addition of rustic wood and stone accents. Guests will experience and enjoy the beauty and rugged nature of Alaska while dining at the Banks Alehouse. In addition to remaining a casual dining spot, the Banks Alehouse will also feature over 40 beers on tap. The new menu will include standard fare with a local twist including local seafood and game meats from Indian Valley Meats.

Once the kitchen redesign is complete TGRCG will travel to Fairbanks with our team of Chefs and present the menu offerings to the owners. A training calendar will be created and the TGRCG’s training team will travel to Fairbanks to open the new restaurant. For sports, bites and brews stop by the Banks Alehouse. Stay tuned for more from this exciting new concept in Fairbanks, Alaska.
