About the Project
The Top Hat Lounge has been an iconic original entertainment club and gathering place for musicians and music lovers. Located in Missoula, Montana, the Top Hat Lounge is a classic music experience established in 1952 and in operation for 60 years.
The Top Hat was the place in Missoula for concerts and dancing for those who enjoy getting up close and personal with their favorite artists. One of its greatest assets as a venue is its intimate size and warm vibe as a club. Every seat in the house is a great seat. The Top Hat Lounge regularly books touring bands as well as local musicians.
The Challenge
Over the years the Top Hat Lounge had begun to show its age and was in desperate need to refresh the brand and restaurant turnaround.
Our Solution
In 2014 The Gilkey Restaurant Consulting Group was engaged by the new owner of the Top Hat Lounge to assist him in reimagining the Top Hat Lounge.
Services Provided
A massive rebuild was orchestrated by the owner who tapped The Gilkey Restaurant Consulting Group to kitchen and bar design development, menu development, operations consulting, recipe development, and employee training.
The Top Hat Lounge has become an established favorite for Missoula locals and visiting tourists alike.
