Emerald Heights is a nationally recognized life care community located in Redmond, Washington. Opened in 1992, Emerald Heights is now a model for other similar residential retirement associations. Additionally, Emerald Heights is a mission of service and not for profit.
The Gilkey Restaurant Consulting Group (TGRCG) is currently working within the Emerald Heights 5 distinctive dining restaurant concepts. The menus vary from wood-fired pizza to artisanal cheeses in Copper & Hook, fresh-made salads and home-style comfort foods in Madrona, to five-course dining elegance in Embers.
TGRCG and the Emerald executive team are improving consistency, service delivery, kitchen timings and cost management within the food and beverage venues. Improved food quality will enhance the already unique restaurant experiences found on the Emerald Heights campus. A review of TGRCG’s assessment findings as well as a strategic action plan supports the Emerald Heights executive team’s enhancement goals.
The Emerald Heights executive team along with TGRCG is also focused on improved messaging to the residents. This will include continuity of brand imaging, interior design, kitchen design and the service model. In addition to leading the transition of one venue on the Emerald Heights campus, TGRCG will also support design of their new Gig Harbor campus, Heron’s Key, scheduled to open in 2016.
