TGRCG launches two new excursions for the Alaska tour railroad onboard passengers. The first, “Hops on the Rails—a sampling of Alaska’s best craft brews.” The first rounds of craft brews included Alaskan Amber, Oatmeal Stout and Raspberry Wheat from the Alaskan Brewing Company, Mother’s Ale from the Denali Brewing Company, and from Kenai Brewing Sunken Island IPA, Skilak, and Honey Hefeweisen. The second railroad excursion, “Alaska’s Bounty—a sampling of Alaskan smoked seafood and cured Alaskan meets.” Included reindeer hunter stick, caribou salami, reindeer sausage, hot and cold smoked Alaskan Halibut, and cold smoked King Salmon. Tasty as well as educational the added excursions boosted satisfaction scores and the early reviews were “outstanding.”
