STEVE CAREY
Steve’s career has been on the fast track from the moment he entered the hospitality
industry. Carey served as Executive Chef and Senior Executive Chef for several
Restaurants Unlimited restaurants including Skates on the Bay, Palomino, Ryan’s
Grill, Cutter’s Grand Café, and Kincaid’s Bayhouse.
In 1994, Carey advanced to Corporate Executive Chef position with Leeann Chin,
Inc., a company generating $40 million in annual sales.
Carey’s career took a natural progression when he stepped in as Vice President of
Menu Development and Operations for Café Odyssey.
In 1999, Carey made the move to Brinker International as Director of Food
Development for the 133-unit On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina.
More recently Steve was part of the opening team responsible for concept
development of Amazing Jake's, a 90,000 square foot entertainment center serving
$230,000 in food sales weekly.
